I think that Peeta was very brave in chapters 18-22. I think that it was smart of him to camoflauge himself with the mud and leaves. I would be very scared to be dying and have to be alone, lying in the mud. I think that it was interesting that Katniss showed up when she did. Peeta was not doing well and then she showed up and came to help him. If I were in his position, I would not be able to stay calm. I think that Peeta was extremely courageous.
In these chapter Peeta seemed to grow stronger. At first he seemed like he was not going to survive but when Katniss got him the medicine he needed I knew he was going to survive.I think Peeta has began to show his real love tords Katniss instead of acting like he loves her so they can survive. Peeta seems to truley love Katniss but I still think Katniss is confused if Peeta's feelings for her are real or if they are just fake. I think Peeta and Katniss will win the Hunger Games and hopefully Peeta will finally be able to tell Katniss how he truley feels about her.
I think Peeta really does have feelings for Katniss, but he wants to play it out just in case she is playing, too. Peeta is very smart and I agree with Maggie how he camoflauged himself. The way he does not want Katniss to go to the feast, really makes me think he loves her. I want to see how these games end!!
I thought it was very brave of Katniss to go the the feast to help Peeta. When Peeta said he didn't want her going to the feast, I thought he had real feelings for her and not just for the sponsors or audience. I agree with Morgan, about how Katniss is confused about Peeta's feelings. I feel he should tell her how he truly feels, if he does in fact feel that way. I absolutely can't wait to see what happens next.
I think the "star crossed lovers" scheme has actually messed with Peeta and Katniss and actually became real, especially living in a cave sharing a sleeping bag and nursing each other. I personally am surprised that Peeta lived through the leg, burns, and tracker jacker attack. He should be dead by now.
I agree with Cameron that Peeta should be dead by now with the leg wound, the tracker jacker attack,and the burns. He owes his life to Katniss because if she hadn't found him, he would be dead. I also think that he was pretty clever to hide himself in the mud.
